Terms of
Warranty
  1. General Terms

WolfVision guarantees its Visualizer and camera products to be free from defective materials and faulty workmanship. General lengths of warranty, specific coverages and exclusions are listed below.

If, during this warranty period, the product should fail due to defective materials or faulty workmanship, all defective parts/components will either be replaced or repaired. WolfVision will supply all replacement parts and labor.

Replaced parts are the property of WolfVision. This warranty does not include claims for nullification of the sale, depreciation (reduction of value) or claim damages.

This document itself does not constitute “proof of warranty coverage”. It is an external indication of internal WolfVision records. The definitive determination for the warranty coverage period is based on WolfVision sales and shipment records.

  2. Updates

Updates are provided via firmware downloads.

    • Bug Fixes
Delivered via firmware updates, bug fixes are available for the lifetime of the unit.
    • Feature Upgrades
Some firmware updates will deliver new or upgraded features. These features upgrades are available only to units that have a current, unexpired warranty or extension. Qualifying for feature upgrades may require activation: please see the Model-specific coverage below.

  3. Model-specific Coverage

    • Visualizer
WolfVision guarantees its Visualizer and camera products to be free from defective materials and faulty workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of shipment (date of invoice). There is no option for an extended warranty.

There is no need to activate the warranty: 5-year coverage is automatic.

As noted in the exclusions below, power supplies are only covered for 1 year.

    • Cynap

      • WolfVision provides a Total Care warranty that guarantees its Cynap models to be free from defective materials and faulty workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of dispatch (date of invoice).
      • A Limited Warranty, excluding the CPU and SSD of the unit, is provided for all other materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years.
      • The Limited Warranty may be extended to a period of 5 years by purchasing a Warranty Extension.
      • When an Extension is purchased, the user should connect the unit to the internet and activate the warranty using the "Activate Support Year" button in the "About" menu.

  4. Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) Units

At the first use after arrival, if the product fails to operate correctly due to defective materials or faulty workmanship, it will be exchanged for a new unit by WolfVision. Damages due to incorrect installation or other disregard of the user manual are not covered. In all other cases, WolfVision will decide whether the faulty product will be replaced or repaired.
